V26-447 : ABSENCE LEVELS

The report of the Director of Central Services compared both total and short-term absence levels across the Council in 1997/98 with the previous year. It showed a reduction in both categories of absence in 1997/98 and advised on initiatives introduced to lower absence levels.

RESOLVED

That the report of the Director of Central Services concerning absence levels be noted, and a further report be presented to the Sub-Committee in 12 months.
