V26-442 : TRELLIS FENCING BETWEEN 15 AND 17 TRINITY STREET, BUNGAY

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerned a complaint which had been received over the erection of a length of trellis fencing on the boundary wall separating the rear gardens of 15 and 17 Trinity Street, Bungay. The fencing was in excess of the permitted two metres when measured from the garden of the complainant.

On a recent site inspection it had been noted that there were a number of other trellis fences in the vicinity of the site which were also in breach of the height restriction, and as such any enforcement would be likely to set a precedent and cause distress to other residents.

RESOLVED

That no action be taken against the trellis fencing between 15 and 17 Trinity Street, Bungay.
