V26-439 : THE FIGHTING COCKS PUBLIC HOUSE, CARLTON ROAD, LOWESTOFT

UNAUTHORISED CAR SALES

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control advised that a number of cars had recently been advertised for sale on the forecourt of the above public house in a residential area of Kirkley. Although the owner had received a request to cease the car sales, this unauthorised use had continued. It was considered that car sales advertised from such a prominent site was an entirely unsuitable use in this location.

RESOLVED

That the Chief Executive be authorised to take all necessary action to ensure cessation of the unauthorised car sales at The Fighting Cocks, Carlton Road, Lowestoft.
