Application for extension to bowls club.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the above proposal would involve a 3.4m extension across the whole of the rear of the existing building. The proposal was located well within this recreational site, however if the users of the Club drove over the playground to reach the building their headlights would be level with neighbouring bedroom windows. The Director therefore recommended approval subject to the car park being defined and access restricted.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W12552/5, subject to the car park being clearly defined and access restricted.
