Application for ground floor bay windows.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the above property was a semi- detached cottage of relatively bland appearance and this proposal for ground floor bay windows would be uncharacteristic to the original line of the cottages. He felt flush windows would be better, and recommended refusal.

Members felt that as the property was quite a plain design these small bays would improve the visual appearance of the cottage, and additionally a more modern dwelling nearby had bay windows.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W17092.
