Application for siting of external extractor fans.
The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that it was proposed to site extractor fans on the rear wall above an alley which divided the property from the adjacent premises to provide air conditioning. The adjacent business had objected to the proximity of the fans, arguing that the fumes would be detected even with the windows shut. However, the Director of Housing and Environmental Services advised that the fans would not produce any toxic fumes, or be unduly noisy. The recommendation of the Director of Planning and Building Control was for approval.
RESOLVED
That planning permission be granted to application W16658/1.
