Application for erection of detached house and garage.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the above site was located within the Conservation Area of the town and was for a house facing Quay Street and having access from New Cut. Development of the site would involve the loss of trees which were of considerable visual amenity and contributed greatly to the character of the area in this prominent location; he recommended refusal.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W12820/11.
