Application for construction of two storey side extension and alteration.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the above application was to add a two storey extension to the two bedroomed semi-detached cottage to create an additional three bedrooms, virtually doubling the floor area of the property and thus being contrary to policy. The proposal was also out of keeping in scale and character with the existing property, and the Director recommended refusal.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W6450/3.
