Application for first floor side extension.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that two objections had been received to the above application on the grounds of loss of light and privacy and inadequate plot size to accommodate the large extension. The Director felt that there was a fair distance between the properties and recommended approval subject to alteration of the internal layout of the extension to have the bedroom at the front and bathroom at the rear, with the bathroom window being obscure glazed and fixed shut.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W17083, subject to alteration of the internal layout of the extension with the bathroom being at the rear and having its window obscure glazed and fixed shut.
