Application to increase number of children to 18 and change hours - variation of conditions 2 and 4 of W4037/7, Conkers Nursery.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that this application relating to a nursery was to increase the number of children over the two sessions which took place each day from 16 per day to 18, to vary the hours slightly to later start and finish times, although not increasing the hours, and to operate for two consecutive weeks during August for one session per day. A neighbour had objected to the last requirement as the Summer holiday was a respite from the business. The Director suggested approval of the first two requirements but refusal to the August operation of the business.

RESOLVED

That the Director of Planning and Building Control be given delegated authority to approve an amended application W4037/8, deleting the two weeks' opening in August.
