V26-40 : W1194/3 - FOUR WINDS, HALESWORTH ROAD, REYDON

Application for extensions for use as a residential care and nursing home.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reminded members that this application had been deferred for a site visit at the last meeting to assess whether this substantial extension would lead to an over-intensification of the site. He reported details of the site visit and recommended refusal as the proposal was backland and overdevelopment and unsympathetic to adjoining properties.

The observation of the Town Council was for refusal, and members were reminded of previous objections from neighbours.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be approved to application W1194/3.
