V26-396 : ISO 9002 QUALITY ASSURANCE ACCREDITATION -

ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES DIVISION

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services advised that the Dog Warden Service, Pest Control Service, Housing Grants Unit and Environmental Co-ordinator had all been assessed by the British Standards Institution and accredited on 19 June 1998.

With the Food and Safety Section and part of the Environmental Control Section already accredited, the entire Environmental Services Division were now providing a service accredited to the ISO 9002 Standard for Quality Assurance.

RESOLVED

That the staff of the Environmental Services Division be congratulated on the recent achievement of ISO 9002 Quality Assurance accreditation.
