V26-390 : DOOR SUPERVISORS DUTY BOOK
The report of the Chief Executive proposed that a Duty Book for Door Supervisors be kept at licensed premises using door supervisors, to indicate who was working on a specific day and the times at which they were at work.
An incident register would be kept in the same book which would assist door supervisors to record incidents in which they were involved.
RESOLVED
1. That the introduction of a combined door supervisors duty book and incident register to be kept at licensed premises using door supervisors be approved.
2. That the register be in a bound form and provided by the Council to ensure uniformity. 3. That licensed door supervisors be required to complete the record at the time he or she begins duty and sign off and complete the incident register, if applicable, before leaving the premises.
4. That the register be available for immediate inspection upon demand by an approved officer of the Council or a Police Officer.
5. That the Chief Executive be authorised to alter the conditions of Public Entertainment Licences accordingly.
