V26-359 : VICTORIA BEACH - PROVISION OF SUN-LOUNGERS
The report of the Director of Community Services outlined an approach from MAM of Sheffield to provide 50 continental style sun-loungers on Victoria Beach. This would be on a free of charge basis with all derived income, after VAT, being shared equally with the Council. The Director, in consultation with the Chairman, had agreed to trial the sun- loungers, which would be administered from the Beach Office, for the 1998 season. RESOLVED
That the action of the Director of Community Services, in consultation with the Chairman, in allowing MAM of Sheffield to provide 50 continental style sunloungers on Victoria Beach for the 1998 season, be confirmed.
