V26-358 : REVENUE GRANT APPLICATION - BECCLES AMATEUR SAILING CLUB
The report of the Director of Community Services outlined an application from the Beccles Amateur Sailing Club (BASC) for a grant of £1,500 towards the purchase of Topper sailing dinghies to enable young people to learn to sail and to experience competitive sailing. A sum of £4,505 remained unallocated in the Leisure Revenue Grants budget for 1998/99, and the Director recommended that a reduced sum of £750 be offered. RESOLVED
That a one-off Revenue Grant of £750 be made to Beccles Amateur Sailing Club towards the purchase of Topper sailing dinghies.
