V26-357 : MINOR PROJECT CAPITAL GRANT - BARSHAM VILLAGE HALL
The report of the Director of Community Services reminded members that minute V24 - 510/5 approved a grant of £11,250 towards a refurbishment scheme for Barsham Village Hall. An application to the National Lottery had been unsuccessful and the scheme was to be scaled down to a figure not exceeding £25,000.
It was therefore proposed in accordance with Council policy that an alternative grant offer of 25% of the revised cost of the scheme be made, equating to a sum not exceeding £6,250. RESOLVED
That a revised grant offer be made towards the refurbishment of Barsham Village Hall of 25% of the total cost, not exceeding £6,250.
