V26-355 : APPLICATION FOR CHARTER MARK - BEACH LIFEGUARD SERVICE
The report of the Director of Community Services sought confirmation of his action, in consultation with the Chairman, in submitting an application for a Charter Mark for the Beach Lifeguard Service.
The Service had played an integral part in the Council's success in achieving 43 European and National Beach Awards since 1988, and was strategically working with the Royal Life Saving Society to establish Lowestoft as a National Centre of Excellence. RESOLVED
That the action of the Director of Community Services, in consultation with the Chairman, in submitting an application for a Charter Mark for the Beach Lifeguard Service, be confirmed.
