Application for construction of covered loading bay.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reminded members that at the last meeting this application was deferred for further negotiations due to the impact of the rear loading bay on residents of Denmark Road. The applicants had since submitted a revised scheme with the rear loading bay enclosed and insulated and appropriate screening to Denmark Road. An undertaking was also given that any deliveries prior to 8 am would be dealt with at the front loading bay.

The Director considered that these revisions required a further 14 day consultation period and requested authorisation to approve the proposal should no further new objections be received.

RESOLVED

That the Director of Planning and Building Control be given delegated authority to grant planning permission to an amended application W338/35, subject to any new consultees' comments.
