V26-335 : HALESWORTH TOWNSCAPE INITIATIVE BID

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control detailed a proposed bid for Halesworth, under the Heritage Lottery Fund's new Townscape Initiative Scheme.

RESOLVED

1. That a preliminary bid for the Halesworth Townscape Initiative be submitted to the Heritage Lottery Fund as described in the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control, based on a revenue contribution in principle of £13,000 per annum in 1999/2000, 2000/2001 and 2001/2002, and subject to a detailed report being brought back to Committee if the bid is successful.

2. That, if successful, an appropriately qualified project officer be appointed for the duration of the scheme, subject to recovery of the costs involved from the external funding agencies and the provision of appropriate technical and administrative support.
