Application for change of use to doctors surgery.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that although he had no objection in principle to the above application, the total lack of patients' or staff parking facilities would result in excess kerbside parking; he recommended refusal.

Members felt, however, that very few doctors surgeries in the town had adequate parking provision and that this should not be a reason for refusal.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W17033.

(Councillor Keable declared an interest in the above item, and left the room during the debate).
