V26-306 : BUSINESS SUPPORT PACKAGE - LOWESTOFT SRB AREA
The report of the Chief Executive reminded members that the Sub-Committee had agreed at minute V24-276/12.2 an allocation of £5,000 per year from the Employment Generation Fund to business support in the Kirkley SRB area.
It was now proposed that the use of the fund be changed from the original proposal. The reasons for this were a change in the criteria for bidding for Objective 5b matching funding, and the wishes of the Traders in the area for a different scheme as detailed in the report. RECOMMENDED
That the remaining annual allocations of £5,000 from the Employment Generation Fund to provide additional business support in the Kirkley Regeneration Budget area be used for a feasibility study and subsequent marketing plan for the area, subject to matching Objective 5b funding.
