V26-30 : W455/17 - LAND ADJACENT TO THE MANSE, ACTON ROAD, LOWESTOFT
Application for erection of a detached bungalow and garage extension.
The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that this was an acceptable infill development which would complete the street scene. The proposal would replace several outbuildings with a bungalow, accessed from the front, similar to others nearby. The bungalow would meet space standards and have a spacious rear garden, and the recommendation of the Director was for approval.
A rear neighbour was concerned with possible loss of light, but the Director felt this was not significant and may even have less effect than the existing outbuildings. If privacy was desired the rear fence could be increased in height.
RESOLVED
That planning permission be granted to application W455/17.
