V26-284 : JAPANESE VISIT TO BUNGAY
The report of the Chief Executive outlined arrangements for a visit of young students and adults from Bange, Japan to Bungay in July. The Town Council had hosted visits from Bange for the last two years and these had proven most successful.
The Town Council considered the establishment of this international link as very important both for Bungay and Waveney, and had asked for a grant of £300 to support the visit. Suffolk County Council had committed the same amount.
RECOMMENDED
That a grant of £300 be given to Bungay Town Council in support of the Japanese visit from Bange, to be met from the Civic Ceremonial budget.
