V26-279 : DISCRETIONARY RATE RELIEF
The report of the Director of Central Services considered three applications for Discretionary Rate Relief which had recently been received, which fell outside the policy guidelines approved at minute V23-505/6.
The Sub-Committee were only prepared to grant Rate Relief of 100% to Keriglen Rescue Shop for one year with a suggestion that they considered obtaining charitable registration. RECOMMENDED
1. That Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth Rugby Football Club's Discretionary Rate Relief remain at 50%.
2. That Keriglen Rescue Shop be granted Discretionary Rate Relief of 100% temporary for one year, subject to review.
3. That East Suffolk Advocacy Network be granted Discretionary Rate Relief of 20%, subject to completion of Charitable Registration.
