V26-249 : W1362/12 - PLOT ADJACENT TO OAKTREE COTTAGE, MILL LANE, BARNBY

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control reminded members that planning permission had been granted for this development, which was nearing completion, on 1 August 1996.

Revised drawings had been submitted re-siting the proposed garage from the western boundary to the opposite boundary, and the neighbour had objected. The Director felt that the erection of the garage adjacent to the eastern boundary, as originally approved, would not have a serious detrimental impact on the neighbour.

RESOLVED

That the Director of Planning and Building Control be given delegated authority to grant planning permission to an amended application W1362/12, with the re-siting of the garage as detailed in the letter of 17 April 1998 and shown on the accompanying layout plan.
