Application for change of use of flat to office.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that there was a planning history to this property, which had eventually become nine flats. The current proposal was to regularise an existing unauthorised use of one of the flats to a builders office. The Director felt that this use was not acceptable in a residential building due to possible disturbance from callers, stress on the car park and further use of the Kensington Road access. He recommended refusal and enforcement.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W10828/12, and that the Chief Executive be authorised to take all pursuant action to ensure compliance.
