W1300/10 - THE FLEECE HOTEL, ST MARYS STREET, BUNGAY

Application for listed building consent for erection of pergola, improvements to car park, new illuminated sign and repositioning of existing sign.

These two applications were considered together as they referred to the same site.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that the proposed minor amendments to the front of the public house were perfectly acceptable. The pergola would provide better outdoor facilities, which had been objected to by neighbours due to possible additional disturbance in the evening. The Director felt that there would not be any significant change to what already occurred at the public house in the evening, however, and recommended approval.

RESOLVED

That planning permission and listed building consent be granted to applications W1300/9 and W1300/10 respectively.
