Application for construction of a two storey dwelling and outbuildings.

The Director of Planning and Building Control reported that an application for a very large house on the above site had previously been approved by the Rural Planning Sub- Committee. The current application was an attractive design greater in height than the previous application, but markedly less bulky. Concerns had been raised concerning eco- friendly drainage systems to be used by the property, however this would be dealt with by Building Control were the application to be approved. The Director recommended approval, subject to the weatherboarding of the dwelling being in a more traditional colour such as grey, brown or black.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W13691/7, subject to the weatherboarding of the dwelling being in a traditional colour.
