V26-192 : MEMBER FAMILIARISATION
The report of the Director of Waveney Contract Services sought members' views on the best mechanism for familiarising them with the workings of the Department.
Members felt that it was easier to concentrate on one particular section at a time, and asked that a tour and seminar be arranged for each segment within the Department. It was anticipated that this would take about six sessions and these would be arranged by September 1998.
RESOLVED
That individual tours and seminars be arranged for each section within Waveney Contract Services to familiarise members with the Department, and attendance be authorised as an approved duty.
