V26-177 : MEMBERSHIP OF EAST ANGLIAN LOCAL GOVERNMENT FORUM AGAINST POVERTY

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services advised that the Council's Anti-Poverty Working Group considered that, having had representatives at meetings of the East Anglian Local Government Forum as observers, there would be obvious benefits from joining the Regional Forum.

The Regional Forum covered Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire and was part of the National Local Government Forum Against Poverty, meeting four times a year at various venues within the three counties.

RESOLVED

That the Chairman of the Anti-Poverty Working Party be appointed to attend the East Anglian Local Government Forum Against Poverty, and attendance be authorised as an approved duty.
