V26-173 : GARAGE SITE - GARDEN CLOSE, BUNGAY

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services reminded members that at minute V25-1328, the Housing Sub-Committee approved the demolition of block three of the above, with a view to possible redevelopment by a Housing Association.

The Local Planning Authority was likely to approve low rise accommodation to the south of the site only, with the construction of a turning head. The Head of Valuation and Estates therefore valued the site at £16,000 based on the development of two bungalows.

RESOLVED

That the existing garage site to the east of 52 Garden Close, Bungay, be disposed of to a member of the Waveney Housing Association Consortium at nil value.
