V26-171 : REDECORATION CYCLE FOR SHELTERED ACCOMMODATION COMMUNAL AREAS

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services considered the redecoration cycle of communal areas to Sheltered Accommodation properties. This was presently undertaken on an "Ad hoc" basis, and it was now felt that this redecoration needed to be undertaken on a cyclical basis, when Programmed Maintenance was carried out.

There would be an impact on Programmed Maintenance budgeting in some years as there would be more Sheltered Accommodation Groups, requiring a greater proportion of the budget.

RESOLVED

That the redecoration of Sheltered Accommodation communal areas be placed on a ten year cycle within Property Maintenance budgets.
