V26-169 : REFURBISHMENT OF COPPICE COURT, LOWESTOFT

The report of the Director of Community Services provided details of the refurbishment proposals for the 36 flats in single storey and two-storey blocks which were part of the above Sheltered Housing Unit. Funds had been allocated as part of the Housing Investment Programme for Lowestoft 1998/99 and 1999/2000.

RESOLVED

1. That the revised proposals for the refurbishment of Coppice Court, Lowestoft, be approved, such works to be funded from the Housing Investment Programmes for 1998/99 and 1999/2000.

2. That the Director of Community Services be authorised to make the necessary application for deemed planning approval and seek tenders from selected Building Contractors.
