V26-1491 : REVIEW OF STRUCTURE

The report of the Chief Executive dealt with the appointment of consultants to assist the Council in a review of the structure of the Council and in the process leading to the selection and appointment of a new Chief Executive.

RESOLVED

1. That SOLACE Enterprises Limited, under the Leadership of Mr Andrew Boatswain, be appointed the Council's consultant to assist in a review of the political and management structure of the Council and in the process leading to the selection and appointment of a new Chief Executive, in accordance with the terms set out in this report.

2. That a small group of members comprising the Chairman and Vice Chairman of Policy and Resources Committee, Councillors Rose and Crisp, be authorised to deal with any issues on which the Chief Executive requires action in managing the process
