V26-1441 : IAN MILLER

Before the commencement of formal proceedings, the Leader of the Council, Councillor Bostock, took the opportunity to wish Ian Miller a happy retirement on behalf of all members, as this was Ian's last Committee meeting before retiring on 31 March 1999. Ian had joined Waveney at its inception in 1974 and the Council had certainly received good value from him. Ian was remaining in the District and members would no doubt see him around.

The Chief Executive on behalf of colleagues also gave his sincere best wishes to Ian on his retirement. On a personal note, Ian had spent the majority of his time at Waveney within the Chief Executive's Department and he had been enjoyable to work with. Ian thanked Councillor Bostock and the Chief Executive for their kind words.
