V26-1423 : W17237 - PUBLIC TOILETS, FEN PARK, LOWESTOFT

Application to demolish existing public toilets and construct new replacement toilets.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control outlined a proposal for the demolition of the existing four-cubicle public toilet block and to construct two replacement toilets, disabled and unisex. The existing toilets had not been in use for over ten years, and as a result were not suitable for upgrading. The design of the new toilets was considered acceptable, and the recommendation of the Director was for approval subject to no material objections being received before the expiration of the consultation period on 24 March 1999.

RESOLVED

That for the purposes of paragraph 4(5) of the Town and Country Planning General Regulations 1976 planning permission be granted to application W17237, subject to no sustainable objections of substance emerging before the expiration of the consultation period.
