Application for temporary garaging of road train.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control reminded members that the above was first approved in 1995 as a temporary measure to provide secure overnight storage for the road train during the season only. However, the garage was a large blue metal container which did not complement this important area. As it was now clear that the garage was not temporary, the Director felt that it would be acceptable if it was painted a more neutral colour and the ends were disguised. As existing, the Director recommended approval for one year, although if the appearance was enhanced as suggested members could consider a longer permission at the end of this period.

RESOLVED

That for the purposes of paragraph 4(5) of the Town and Country Planning General Regulations 1976 planning permission be granted to application W16481/3, temporary for one year.
