Application for single and two storey side extensions and erection of a conservatory.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerned a proposal for the erection of a two storey side extension to increase the size of the existing single storey side extension and to erect a conservatory at the rear of the dwelling, extending from the proposed two storey extension. Although this was a substantial extension on the side of the dwelling and would project close to the edge of the pavement, it would not affect the amenities of neighbours. The overall design of the extensions was acceptable, and would not be over-dominant or out of character in the street scene. The Director recommended approval.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W12020/6.
