Application for single storey front extension.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control outlined a proposal for a single storey front extension which would result in a full width extension to the above property. Permission had been given in March 1994 for a single storey side extension which included a half width front extension.

It was considered that this further extension would be out of character and scale with the original dwelling house, and would result in an unacceptable loss of light and outlook to the neighbouring property, the owner of which objected. The Director recommended refusal.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W16003/2.
