Application for construction of a crinkle-crankle wall.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerned a proposal for the erection of a new section of crinkle crankle wall adjacent to Spurgeons Score and O'Reillys car park, as part of the Scores Improvement Scheme. The maximum height of the wall would be 1.8 metres. The design was considered acceptable, and would enhance the overall character and appearance of this part of the Conservation Area. The Director recommended approval subject to no objections being received by the end of the consultation period.

RESOLVED

That for the purposes of paragraph 4(5) of the Town and Country Planning General Regulations 1976 planning permission be granted to application W13520/2, subject to no sustainable objections of substance emerging before the expiration of the consultation period.
