Application for change of use to form offices.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control outlined a proposal to convert the above end terrace property from residential to a solicitors office. No objections had been received, and this part of Regent Road was designated in the Local Plan for office use.

Standards required that ten off-street car parking spaces be provided, however since this was a conversion and no additional floor space was to be created, the provision of eight car parking spaces and cycle storage facilities was considered acceptable. The Director recommended approval.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W11891/1.
