V26-1365 : CHARTER FOR CARERS IN SUFFOLK
The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services included Suffolk Health Authority's "Charter for Carers" document, following their approach to the Council to ask for support in its adoption.
The Government had also been developing a National Charter which had just been launched. The two documents would complement each other, and reinforce the importance of the local work already underway. Copies of the Government's National Charter were available from the Director for inspection.
RESOLVED
That the Suffolk Health Authority "Charter for Carers" document be endorsed by this authority for adoption.
