V26-1329 : FLOTILLA OF SAILS
The report of the Director of Community services was considered as a matter of urgency, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, as approval was needed before the date of the next meeting.
Following the response from the Arts Council of England to the Council's submission for grant aid towards the Flotilla of Sails, a meeting had been arranged with the Eastern Arts Board and Arts Council in London on Wednesday, 10 March 1999 to discuss the project. Authorisation was sought for the Chairman to attend the meeting with the Director of Community Services as an approved duty.
RESOLVED
That Councillor Kelly attend the Eastern Arts Board and Arts Council meeting in London on 10 March 1999, and attendance be authorised as an approved duty. The meeting was concluded at 8.20 pm.
