V26-1315 : WAVENEY LOCAL PLAN - DRAFT MONITORING REPORT
The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control informed members that whilst Local Planning Authorities were not obliged to produce Monitoring Reports of their Local Plans, they were strongly encouraged to do so. The production of a Monitoring Report could also draw attention to Policy issues requiring investigation at an early stage, one means of keeping the Plan relevant and up to date and avoiding appeal challenges. RESOLVED
That the draft Monitoring report be referred to a meeting of the Local Plan Panel for detailed discussion.
The meeting was concluded at 8.35 pm.
