V26-1314 : ADOPTION OF RAILPATH PHASE 1, GREAT EASTERN LINEAR PARK
The report of the Director of Community Services reminded members that Railpath Phase 1 was completed during Spring 1998, running from Footpath 21 at the rear of the North Quay Retail Park to Marham Road, Lowestoft, a distance of approximately 600m. The route had become a popular link between the Beeches Estate and the Retail Park for both cyclists and pedestrians and especially the Post Office's employees. In order that it now became maintainable at public expense it was necessary for it to be adopted. RESOLVED
That the Railpath Phase 1 of the Great Eastern Linear Park, Lowestoft, be adopted and become maintainable at public expense.
