V26-1243 : REYDON BUSINESS PARK
The report of the Director of Central Services outlined an opportunity to provide 4,500 square feet of advanced factory units at Reydon Business Park. A need for a further phase of four units had been identified and the estimated total cost was £240,000. English Partnerships had indicated that it would consider participating in the scheme and PESCA European Funding was available subject to approval.
It was anticipated that PESCA funding would equate to £96,000, with English Partnerships and the Council contributing £72,000 each. This sum would need to be accommodated in the 1999/2000 Other Services Capital Programme, and could be considered by the Monitoring Group in early 1999.
RECOMMENDED
That a further phase of advanced factory units be constructed at Reydon Business Park subject to funding being available from the Council's Capital Programme, English Partnerships and PESCA in 1999/2000.
