V26-1238 : ECONOMIC PROJECTS OFFICER FOR RURAL SUFFOLK

The Chairman introduced Sue Appleton, the Economic Projects Officer for Rural Suffolk, to the Sub-Committee. Sue gave a brief presentation on projects in the 5b Rural Development Area of Waveney assisted by 5b, RDA and Leader II funds over the last three years. Sue then touched upon its future after the end of 1999 which would see a transitional stage until confirmation of Objective 2 and Leader II status was known.

There followed a short question and answer session.

RESOLVED

That the report of the Economic Projects Officer for Rural Suffolk be received.
