V26-1231 : COUNCIL HOUSING STOCK CONDITION SURVEY - RECRUITMENT OF TEMPORARY ST
The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services advised members that it was necessary to recruit additional temporary members of staff to conduct the housing stock survey, which was approved by the Housing and Environmental Services Committee on 21 January 1999.
The survey was to be completed within a two year period and three additional Building Surveyors would be required in year one, and two additional Building Surveyors in year two. RECOMMENDED
That the appointment of three Building Surveyors on one year fixed term contracts on Scale 5/SO2, to be advertised internally and externally, to commence from April 1999 be approved.
