V26-1217 : 7 WINDSOR ROAD, LOWESTOFT

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control advised that scaffolding had been in place at the front of the above property for well over two years, with no sign of repair work being undertaken for some considerable time.

The scaffolding represented an unattractive feature in the street scene and was considered detrimental to the South Lowestoft Conservation Area. In order to protect the amenity value of this area it was important that the scaffolding be quickly removed.

RESOLVED

That the Chief Executive be authorised to take all pursuant action to bring about the removal of external scaffolding at 7 Windsor Road, Lowestoft.
