Application for retention of security mesh to shop front.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control outlined a retrospective application to establish a security mesh over a shop front in response to repeated burglary attempts at the property. The mesh was not attractive, however the proposal did not have an adverse impact on the street scene and no objections had been received. The Director recommended approval.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W6345/2.

(Councillor Young declared an interest in the above item and left the room during the debate).
